Pro-Life Work: March for Life: Fri. 1/22, Mass at Noon, Followed By The March

A heartfelt thank you to all who participated in the New Haven March for Life this past Friday, January 22nd. Your witness is a testament to the Gospel of Life founded by God, made manifest in Jesus Christ, and carried forward by the faithful.
Thanks also to Mike and Norma for organizing the March and ensuring it was imbued with prayer and was respectful at all times. You can view photos using the gallery below -- thanks to the photographers!
Please pray that all those who traveled to Washington, DC, and are now stranded due to winter storm Jonas, have a safe trip home.

Knights of Columbus
Are you a Catholic man interested in helping those in need, serving your parish, and growing in your faith? Consider joining the Knights of Columbus council at St. Mary’s today!
Our council is dedicated to giving back to our community and parish, while building a community of Catholic men, through works of service, charity, and fraternity. Our regular activities include preparing food once a month for a local homeless shelter, organizing the weekly “Coffee and” program after the 10:00 AM Mass, assisting in the upkeep of parish grounds, coordinating the annual Christmas Giving Tree, and hosting tours and events for pilgrims to St. Mary’s.
In addition to our general meetings, which are held the first Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Church undercroft, we host a number of fraternal events and activities for our members and their families.
As a member of St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus council, you’re also part of something much larger: a worldwide organization of over 1.8 million Catholic men who share your values and beliefs. Founded in 1882 by Venerable Father Michael J. McGivney, an assistant pastor of St. Mary’s here in New Haven, the Knights of Columbus remains true to its founding principles of charity, unity, and fraternity and is one of the largest Catholic fraternal organizations in the world. Following in Fr. McGivney’s vision of providing care for widows and orphans, the Order also provides top-rated life insurance for its members and their families, with over $90 billion of protection in force.
